Sevnica, the centre of the Municipality of Sevnica, is a medium-sized town located in Slovenia. With around 5,000 inhabitants, it is an important local centre, employing many people from the near and far surroundings, especially in the textile and wood industry factories. The town is increasingly merging with the village of Boštanj on the right bank of the Sava River.
