Route Description
While vacationing on Rogla, you will probably not run out of things to do in both summer and winter. The Dwarf Learning Trail is one of the most cute and modern attractions here. Why modern, you may ask.
Because you find out everything about ants and bees with the help of a dwarf, who interacts with you via the Pohorje Dwarf mobile app! He is small and green, just like any other dwarf and will give you many useful information about nature, the greatest treasure of Pohorje, packed into fun anecdotes and challenges and will introduce you to his friends. The trail was ranked second at the 26th Annual My Country- Beautiful and Hospitable competition in the TOP thematic trail category.
You can leave your car at the Planja Hotel parking lot, where you can also buy a wooden plate (3 EUR), on which you collect six stamps along the way. It takes you just under two hours to complete the trail, but in the end, it pays off to collect all the stamps. You can choose between two rewards: ice cream or a cute wooden magnet.
You meet wooden statues of Rogla’s flora and fauna, which lead you right to the Zlodejevo Winter and Summer Sledding Area. This is a must for all adrenaline lovers aged 3-99 J.
Interesting Facts
At the Uniorček Bar, you can visit the Pohorje Village and its nine thematic houses with didactic playgrounds as well as a small church in the middle.
In this village, you get to learn about the story of the lives and work of the local population. The Pohorje story is expanded on in every single Pohorje hut. Pre-schoolers, who do not know how to ski yet or who simply wish to rest a bit during their ski adventures, get to learn what real locals do in every single hut. Each of the houses contains a cute game that will not only entertain children but also make sure that their young brains are actively engaged. (Source: rogla.eu website) .

Center okusov
Although we could definitely find a great pizzeria or inn on Rogla itself, we preferred to make a little drive to revisit the “Center okusov” restaurant. Their best thing is, in addition to the food of course, a huge indoor playground. Both toddlers and preschool children get lost in play there. You will probably not find a more peaceful place to eat and drink anywhere else.
They offer a variety of burgers, salads, wraps and, of course, different children's menus.
Everything is taken care of at the “Center okusov” restaurant!
Mila and Staš Recommend
Racing along the 1,360 metre (4,461 feet) long winding track in your sleigh at the Zlodejevo Winter and Summer Sledding Area will undoubtedly get the blood rushing through your veins. Children aged three and above, accompanied by parents, are allowed to take a ride. This is the first thing they will rush to tell their grandparents when you return from the trip :).
