Interesting Facts

This ZOO began its story more than thirty years ago when a then-small injured deer cub received help and a new home. The journey was not easy, but the sweet and silent animal gratitude outweighed every obstacle the owners faced. With optimism and pride, this family of extraordinary people follows its calling.

There is no other ZOO like the Rožman ZOO since all of the staff makes sure to provide the best care and presentation of animals and promote the right attitude of people to flora and fauna. Their work is important and meaningful.
