Opis poti
Še en lep družinski izlet v okolici Grosuplja. Uradnega parkirišča ni in večina parkira kar pri kozolcu na travi v vasi Hrastje. Domačini s tem niso najbolj zadovolni, zato vam predlagamo, da avtocesto proti Novemu mestu zapustite na Grosuplje vzhod in takoj na desni boste videli casino Admiral. Tam je več kot dovolj parkirišč, kjer lahko brez skrbi pustite svoj avto.
Dobro ohranjeno prazgodovinsko naselje z umetno narejenimi terasami in obrambnimi nasipi, veliko število rodovnih gomil, pestra zgodovina arheoloških raziskav in bogate arheološke najdbe uvrščajo Magdalensko goro med najbolj znana arheološka najdišča v Sloveniji.
Na vrhu griča, na mestu akropole nekdanjega gradišča, stoji cerkev svete Magdalene, zgrajena v kmečkem gotskem slogu. Urejena sprehajalna arheološka pot vas bo vodila po zavarovanem območju kulturne dediščine. Sprehajalna - učna pot omogoča ogled še vidnih ostankov železodobnega gradišča in oriše način življenja takratnih prebivalcev.

Most of the finds date back to the 8th to the 1st century BC., and some excavations are from Roman and medieval times. Among the more important items are bronze situlae, weapons and other military equipment, various buckles and decorative jewelry. A decorative tile in the shape of a four-pointed cross with horse heads is the basis for the image of the coat of arms of the municipality of Grosuplje. The finds are kept in museums in Ljubljana, Vienna and Harvard.
